Passing an incompatible argument type when invoking a function.
TS2345 occurs during function invocations when the argument type passed at runtime fails structural typing checks against parameter type 'Y'.
Passing string numbers (e.g. `'42'`) to numeric parameters, or passing optional/nullable types into functions expecting defined non-null values.
1function sendEmail(email: string, priority: number) {2 console.log(`Sending to ${email} with priority ${priority}`);3}4 5const userEmail = "dev@example.com";6const currentPriority = "high"; // String instead of number!7 8sendEmail(userEmail, currentPriority); // TS2345: Argument of type 'string' is not assignable to parameter of type 'number'1function sendEmail(email: string, priority: number) {2 console.log(`Sending to ${email} with priority ${priority}`);3}4 5const userEmail = "dev@example.com";6const currentPriority = 1; // Correct type: number7 8sendEmail(userEmail, currentPriority);Simulate standard system builds to trigger compiler trace records and track memory crashes locally.
Parameter `priority` requires a `number`, but string value `"high"` was supplied.
